PART 2 - PROJECT INFORMATION
2.1 Objectives – List the main objectives of the research and of the project overall. Explain the relevance to NATO’s policy towards defence against terrorism or countering other threats to security.
2.2 State of the Art of the Topic, including references of max. 5 recent relevant publications in refereed journals
2.3 Description of the Project - Provide, in non-technical terms, a description of the project and the activities to be carried out.
(a) Reasons why the research is needed, together with an overview of the results expected at the end of the project.
(b) Indicate how the results of the project will contribute to improved security in the participating Partner/Med. Dialogue country or countries.
(c) Describe the novel aspects of the project (eg. new physical principles, new industrial processes, new environmental methodologies, etc). How do these differ from traditional methods or processes? Refer to the state of the art in the country and world-wide.
2.5 Organisation of the Project
Describe the role of each of the participating groups, including that of the industrial and/or public sector collaborators and the end-user(s).
2.6 Implementation of the Results
What measures will be taken by the Co-Directors to ensure the implementation of the results of the project by public bodies, industry or commercial enterprises?
